JerseyNZ Annual Conference
Registrations for this year’s Conference closed on the 19th of April, however we are still taking late registrations which will incur a $50 late fee.

Cream Can session – Members will be invited to share any questions or concerns into the Cream Can during the Conference, which will then be discussed in the Cream Can session on Thursday morning.
JerseyNZ Hall of Fame
There are five finalists named in the 2024 Jersey NZ Hall of Fame judged by members Cliff Shearer, Tony Luckin and Robert Hall. Two of these famed cows will be inducted into the Jersey NZ Hall of Fame at the Annual Conference.

Members nominated registered cows, alive or dead, for a variety of reasons including indexes; outstanding progeny; high production; On Farm results; show results; great cow families; and any other accomplishments worthy of consideration.

IDW Youth Challenge – applications open now
JerseyNZ welcomes applications for the IDW Youth Challenge team 2025.
The International Dairy Week Youth Challenge Tour is a chance to experience a large internationally renowned show and test skills in clipping, showmanship and judging against Australia’s youth.
Proposed dates for IDW and the NZ Dairy event clash. Applicants will not be able to attend both.

JerseyGenome
We had a great response from members sending in DNA samples for animals identified in the top cow report. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Samples will be sent to Genomnz this week and the working group will begin looking at animals for this year’s JerseyGenome team. Keep an eye on emails in the near future.

Electronic notifications are a great way to keep abreast of all our communications to you. Where we have your e-mail address, and you have NOT previously advised us that you don’t wish to receive mail electronically, we will use this.
